We are proud to announce that Space Coast Pride 2012 will be held on Sunday, May 27, 2012 at Wickham Pavilion, 3701 N Wickham Road, Melbourne, FL 32935.
Space Coast Pride was founded 6 years ago as a small picnic and has grown to become one of the most respected pride events in Florida. It has drawn people from all over the state and across the country, and this year we anticipate Space Coast Pride 2012 will exceed 2,000 people.
Space Coast Pride is a product of The Living Room of Brevard, Inc. The Living Room of Brevard is the Lesbian, Gay, Bi-Sexual and Trans-Gender community center for the Space Coast and a non-profit 501(c)3 charitable organization. The Living Room's primary focus is to foster a sense of community within the LGBT community and to bridge the divide with our straight families. Space Coast Pride is the pinnacle of our efforts. Your support allows us to keep the price of admission low to allow everyone to enjoy a day of diversity and inclusiveness.
For 2012, we have an established relationship with traditional media outlets in conjunction with local gay media. We also have an extensive line-up of live entertainment, a children's play area, free HIV testing, etc.
We have many sponsorship levels for you to show your support for this strong community. Your sponsorship will allow The Living Room of Brevard to continue to grow our support of community initiatives, our sister organizations and our long-term goal of reopening our physical space.
